Baedeker accepts travel writing, photography, and other forms of content from NYU students, alumni, and faculty. To submit work, please use the buttons above to navigate to the appropriate forms.
We normally publish stories of at least 250 words in length, though shorter pieces and poems are perfectly acceptable. Our focus is on exposing our audience to vast and interesting information; inspiring them to take advantage of the experiences the world can offer. *Please note* you do not need to submit fully fleshed pieces, we accept pitches during the initial stages of submission. For more specifications on our content, take a look at our general guide for writers, which can be found here.
For photo-centric submissions, we accept both standalone images and cohesive photo essays that give viewers real insight into a place and its culture. Please carefully review the photography guidelines at the top of our photo submission form before you make your submission.
This year, we are looking to expand beyond stories, poems, and photos, and into unique types of travel content like maps, illustrations, recipes, interviews, etc. Whether you have a fully-created piece of alternative content, or just an idea, we encourage you to submit it to us.
